The start of the 2020 framework

By Vicki Evans, Strategic Account Manager | Posted March 17, 2016

Have you heard the news? We’ve been chosen to supply the Crown Commercial Service Half-Hourly framework until 2020.

We're delighted and to help you understand what this means for you we kicked off our 2016 educational programme with a webinar about getting ready for the changeover to new 2020 framework. We're so pleased that a record 100 people registered to attend!

In case you couldn’t make it, or would like a refresh, here are some of the most important bits that we covered.

PLEASE RETURN YOUR MODEL CONTRACT

First things first. The most important thing for you to do is check, sign and return your new Model Contract. The great news is that you'll continue to benefit from the CCS framework, but by doing this small action it'll confirm the details we have are correct and up to date.

By now you should have received our email, it would have come from the sender ‘DocuSign’ just in case you may not have seen it yet. It's straight forward to use but if you have any questions, or if you answer ‘no’ to any of the questions below, please email me at edfenergyccssales@edfenergy.com.

  • Have received your Model Contract via email?

  • Can you access our DocuSign e-signature platform and review the document?

  • Is the information correct?

If we don’t hear from you soon, we’ll be in touch to see how things are going and if there’s anything you need from us.

NON-ENERGY COSTS

As the frameworks change over, there's an important change for you to be aware of:

Non-energy costs (that cover transport, distribution and decarbonisation) make up an increasing percentage of your electricity prices and rose by 16% last year, so it’s important to keep an eye out in April and December where we’ll write to you about any reconciliations.

You can find out our latest views on forecasting and where non-energy costs are headed by downloading our latest copy of Monitor. Simply log in to Market Insight. You can also learn more about non-energy costs with our short film.

We're proud to have been chosen again as the CCS HH framework supplier. It's good news for you too - there will be no interruption to your supply, your billing stays the same and none of your passwords for services will change.

SUPPORT FROM US

We’ll continue to deliver ways for you to make the most out of your framework, which includes doing everything we can to help save you time, money and carbon. We’ll regularly publish new online content such as blogs and our suite of educational webinars plus other site updates – check the events page for more information.

Information about our (free) face to face events with how to register can be found on our events page. Our last event filled up quickly so reserve your place today for the opportunity to network with experts from CCS, EDF Energy and your peers. We’d love to see you there.

Hi Vicki,
Can I ask under the P272 regulations will my current NHH sites profiled at 5-8 (20 sites affected) be taken on by EDF automatically come April 2017. Or do they stay with the incumbent supplier?

Hi Steve,

Crown Commercial Service is discussing P272 with both of the electricity Framework Suppliers. We hope to be in a position to issue advise and guidance to everyone affected later in June.
